Barboursville Vineyards

Barboursville Vineyards is a 900-acre Estate of Wine located in an enchanted corner of the Southwest mountains in Virginia’s Piedmont. Founded in 1976 by Casa Vinicola Zonin, an Italian family wine company based in the Veneto, Barboursville was the first to successfully grow Vitis vinifera on a commercial scale and Barboursville continues to define the region via Octagon, Virginia’s iconic red blend. Led by Luca Paschina, the Estate is also home to Palladio Restaurant, Library 1821, 1804 Inn & Vineyard Cottages, and the historic Ruins of Governor James Barbour’s 1814 Mansion designed by Thomas Jefferson.
